About Me
- About Me: I'm a retired 1st grade teacher but also taught art and science. I enjoy genealogy, my 3 daughters (one you know as murisopsis) and being a grandma to 4 boys and 2 girls. Last year I wrote a book about my father's side of the family and hope to do several more family histories before I shuffle off this mortal coil.

- Nicknames: Uncles called me "Red on the Head" and "Joycephus Orange Blossom". Mom called me "Baby Love-it" when I was young.
- Nationality: American of mainly Irish, German and English ancestry, with some Welsh & Scot plus a dash of French waaaay back in the recipe that produced me.
- Religion: Lutheran (ELCA)
- Heroes: My 13 Revolutionary War ancestors, my hardworking parents, FDR, Molly Ivins, Thomas Merton, Wm. Sloane Coffin Jr., Howard Zinn, Mother Theresa but not necessarily in that order
